Oil Change Service in Arvada, CO
Dirty oil breaks down, loses viscosity, and stops protecting the metal surfaces inside your engine. A regular oil change is the single cheapest thing you can do to keep your car running right. We match every oil change to your manufacturer's spec — weight, filter, and interval.
What's Involved
We drain the old oil, swap the filter, and refill with the correct weight and type for your vehicle. Every oil change here includes a basic under-car inspection — we check for leaks, worn CV boots, and anything else worth flagging while we're underneath.
- Conventional, synthetic blend, or full synthetic oil
- OEM-equivalent or OEM filter (Subaru, Toyota, Honda, etc.)
- Drain plug washer replacement
- Fluid level check — coolant, brake fluid, power steering, washer
- Tire pressure check and adjustment
Most oil changes take 30 to 45 minutes. If you're running a turbo car — WRX, EcoBoost, GTI — we'll talk to you about shorter intervals and why full synthetic matters more on boosted engines.
Signs You Need an Oil Change
- Oil change reminder light or maintenance indicator on the dash
- Engine oil looks dark black on the dipstick instead of amber
- You're 500+ miles past your recommended interval
- Engine sounds louder than usual, especially at startup
- You can't remember the last time it was done
Why It Matters
Old oil turns into sludge. Sludge clogs oil passages and starves bearings, camshafts, and turbo cartridges of lubrication. We've pulled valve covers off engines with 15,000-mile oil change intervals and found a quarter-inch of tar coating everything inside.
A $60-$90 oil change every 5,000 miles is a lot cheaper than a $4,000 engine rebuild. On turbocharged cars, the turbo bearing gets its oil from the engine — skip changes and you'll cook the turbo too.
